FAQs

Should protein balls be refrigerated?

While our chocolate protein ball recipes don't have to be refrigerated, it's best to store them in the fridge if you use nut milk and also to keep the nut butter nice and firm so your protein balls hold shape.

Can I add coconut to the chocolate protein ball recipes?

YES absolutely! Coconut is fantastic for its flavour and texture. In fact, you can add just about anything from different nuts, seeds, grains and even dried fruit!

Are chocolate protein ball recipes vegan-friendly?

As these recipes include whey protein powder, they are unsuitable for those following a plant-based diet. However, you can swap the WPI for a vegan protein powder instead, like the Evolve Vegan Protein or Muscle Nation Plant Protein.

When making healthy chocolate protein balls, you can be as creative as you like with ingredients. Add more Evolve WPI to the mix or even a scoop of Evolve Choc Collagen to boost your daily protein intake for added benefits and flavour!
